अवार-नवार छोरियां / Every Now and Then Girls…

Experience a screening of अवार-नवार छोरियां / Every Now and Then Girls…, a film by Shefalee Jain and Shivi Bhatnagar, with sound conceptualised and directed by Lokesh Khodke.

Adapted from a Rajasthani folk tale about two girls, the film uses non-human narrators to weave together stories of women’s friendships, challenge patriarchal norms, and imagine new possibilities for the future.

Following the screening, Shefalee Jain, Shivi Bhatnagar, and Lokesh Khodke come together for a discussion moderated by Neha Zooni Tickoo, Curator, KNMA.

While you’re here, explore KNMA’s ongoing exhibitions In-Rhythm and Inheritors of Earth.
