Anjali Sen joined KNMA in 2025 as the Director of Human Resources. In this role she leads the team in several key areas that contribute to the growth and sustainability of the organization. These include organization and culture development, talent acquisition and people development.

As the former Director of the National Gallery of Modern Art, (NGMA) Delhi, Anjali spearheaded the development of the museum and its strategic partnerships. This led to groundbreaking new exhibitions as well as enhanced collaboration with national and international artists. This experience, along with her abiding interest in the Arts, underpins her commitment to advancing KNMA’s vision and mission as a leading institution.

She also held the position of Director, in the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Culture in the Government of India to oversee museums across the country and provide policy direction.

Anjali’s background in executive leadership spanning across decades also extends to international non-Government organizations and the United Nations (UNFPA in Yemen, Indonesia and Fiji) She has also served on various Advisory Boards. This extensive experience allows her to contribute significantly to strategic organizational and people development at KNMA. 

Anjali holds a Master of History from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, and has completed several senior executive and leadership programs at the Government of India, United Nations.
