This edition of the Sketching Series comes to Utsav, The Square, GMR Aerocity in collaboration with India Experience, inviting participants to explore drawing through observation, humour, and creative interpretation.

Centred on the art of caricature, the session examines how distinctive facial features, expressions, gestures, and personality traits can be amplified to create engaging visual characters. Through guided sketching exercises, participants will learn to identify defining characteristics and experiment with exaggeration while retaining a sense of likeness and individuality.

Balancing observation with imagination, the workshop introduces approaches to character studies, expressive drawing, and visual storytelling. Participants will explore how line, form, and distortion can be used to communicate personality, creating caricatures that are both playful and expressive.

About the Artist
Mohit Suneja is a New Delhi–based illustrator, caricature artist, and visual storyteller with over 14 years of experience in editorial illustration, character design, and publishing. His practice spans caricature, conceptual illustration, portraits, and visual narratives, combining observation, humour, and expressive drawing to create engaging visual experiences.
