17 Jun 2026 - 20 Jun 2026
This offsite summer art camp comes to Utsav, The Square, GMR Aerocity, in collaboration with India Experiences®, bringing together immersive making, material exploration, and creative discovery. Designed for young participants, the programme encourages curiosity, observation, and sensory engagement through experiences connecting art, craft, ecology, and the natural world.
Inspired by materials, traditions, and everyday practices that shape our relationship with the environment, this special edition explores ideas of sustainability, care, and resourcefulness through culturally rooted modes of making. Through guided activities and tactile experimentation, participants discover how stories can emerge from natural materials, inherited knowledge, and acts of creation.
Programme Schedule
Day 1 – Burlap Overlap | 17 June
Using repurposed textiles as a starting point, participants will stitch, layer, and reshape materials through playful experimentation and process.
Day 2 – Kitchen Imprints | 18 June
Drawing from ingredients commonly found in the kitchen, participants will experiment with natural pigments and light-sensitive printing processes, uncovering how time, sunlight, and organic materials can produce visual traces and patterns.
Day 3 – Earth as Canvas | 19 June
Participants will create with earth-based pigments and natural textures, exploring mark-making and surface-building techniques inspired by traditional practices and surrounding landscapes.
Day 4 – Interlaced Structures | 20 June
Through weaving, bending, and constructing with natural materials such as cane, participants will investigate how structure and form emerge through traditional techniques and material knowledge.
The programme creates a space for experimentation, reflection, and making by hand, culminating in a shared collection of artworks and experiences that celebrate creativity, sustainability, and deeper connections with materials and environments.
