Art Battle Season 6 is Kiran Nadar Museum of Art’s flagship outreach initiative, expanding into a national format this year. The programme will be launched in Jaipur on 21 April 2026 and will travel across ten cities, bringing together students, schools, and communities through a shared engagement with art, culminating in a Grand Finale at KNMA, New Delhi in December 2026.

At the heart of the programme is an on-the-spot painting competition, where participants respond to a theme revealed at the venue. This format encourages spontaneity, originality, and personal interpretation. Students participate across three categories: Junior (Grades 3–5), Middle (Grades 6–8), and Senior (Grades 9–12), ensuring age-appropriate engagement while building confidence and creative independence.

The City Rounds will take place across Jaipur, Dehradun, Kolkata, Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad, Faridabad, Noida, Delhi, and Guwahati. Winners from each city advance to the National Grand Finale at KNMA, New Delhi. Where finalists from across the country come together in a celebration of creativity.

The competition will be conducted in two phases. Three city-level winners in each category will qualify for the Grand Finale, with prizes awarded at both city and national levels. The Grand Finale, to be held at KNMA, New Delhi in December 2026, will bring together 30 finalists from across the country, from which three winners will emerge as the winners of Art Battle Season 6. Selected artworks will be exhibited within the museum’s gallery spaces, offering participants a rare opportunity to see their work showcased on the walls of a leading art museum.

(Travel and accommodation for two days will be provided for selected finalists and one accompanying teacher (excluding Delhi NCR participants))
