Splendour is an intimate contemporary dance solo that unfolds the radiance beneath the surface, subtle, pulsing, and alive. Performed in close proximity to the audience, the work moves between presence and absence, creating an immersive experience where the boundaries between performer, space, and viewer begin to dissolve.

As the dancer shifts through evolving frames, the performance invites audiences to experience movement not only as form, but as sensation, an energy that lingers, transforms, and resonates beyond the stage. What begins as a fleeting moment expands into a shared space of reflection, opening possibilities for quiet catharsis and heightened awareness.

Positioned as a space beyond screens, Splendour foregrounds the body as a site of creation and transformation, where gestures emerge, dissolve, and reconfigure into new expressions of feeling and presence.

About the Artist
Nikolina Nikoleski is a Croatian dancer, choreographer, and pedagogue based in New Delhi. Trained in contemporary dance and ballet in Croatia and Austria, she further developed her practice under Pina Bausch in Germany and studied Bharatanatyam in India under guru Saroja Vaidyanathan as an ICCR scholar. Her work brings together contemporary and classical forms, creating a distinctive movement language. She has performed internationally across Europe and India and is the founder of the Nikolina Nikoleski Dance Academy.
