This panel brings together women from diverse communication and cultural backgrounds to reflect on intersectional identities and their influence on artistic and cultural participation. Drawing from lived experiences and professional practices, the discussion explores how gender, language, and access shape engagement with art and cultural institutions.

By fostering dialogue between Deaf and hearing perspectives, the panel highlights the importance of inclusive cultural spaces and the role of women in reimagining how art is experienced, interpreted, and shared.

Moderator:
Charu Narang is the founder of Deaf Women Too (DWT), a feminist platform that promotes women’s empowerment and gender equality. She is a Deaf feminist advocate and researcher focused on improving access, inclusion, and safe spaces for Deaf women, including work on SRHR and mental health. She is also an Associate Manager at Hear A Million (EnAble India).
