An introductory workshop on Indian Sign Language led by Hardeep Singh.

This introductory workshop invites hearing participants to learn the basics of Indian Sign Language (ISL). Led by a Deaf facilitator, the session introduces essential signs, visual communication techniques, and key aspects of Deaf culture.

Participants explore how language, gesture, and expression come together in ISL, gaining insight into non-verbal communication and alternative ways of understanding interaction. The workshop also encourages reflection on accessibility, inclusion, and respectful engagement with the Deaf community.

Designed as an open and interactive session, the workshop fosters curiosity, awareness, and meaningful exchange, offering participants a foundation for more inclusive communication practices.
