Kito de Boer is a global business leader and art patron with a distinguished international career spanning strategy, diplomacy, and philanthropy. He spent over three decades at McKinsey & Company, working across Europe, South Asia, and the Middle East, including leadership roles in London, Delhi, and Dubai, where he helped establish the firm’s regional presence.

In 2015, he was appointed by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to help establish the Initiative for the Palestinian Economy and subsequently succeeded Tony Blair as head of the Quartet Office, representing the US, EU, UN, and Russia in supporting the Middle East peace process. Based in Jerusalem during this period, he worked at the intersection of economic development and diplomacy.

Kito and his wife Jane began collecting South Asian art while living in Delhi and have remained deeply engaged with the field. Their collection spans major twentieth-century modernists and contemporary voices, and is documented in their book Modern Indian Painting. He currently serves as Chair of Antara International, supporting the Foundation’s work with vulnerable mothers and infants in northern India.
