Exploring memory and material through slow, meaningful making.

Songlines FEATURED EVENTS

Inspired by Songlines: Tracking the Seven Sisters, the workshop invites participants to reflect on how stories travel through land, body, and collective memory.

Working with natural and found materials, participants will create wearable and sculptural forms through slow, intuitive making. The session approaches art as a form of mapping where gesture, texture, and material choices carry traces of personal experience and memory.

Emphasising process over perfection, the workshop offers a reflective yet playful space for exploration. Through tactile engagement and mindful making, participants are encouraged to respond to materials instinctively and create forms that feel personal and embodied.

Designed as a calm and immersive experience, the session invites participants to slow down, connect with materiality, and explore making as a way of remembering, sensing, and storytelling.
