Parth Phiroze Mehrotra
Director - Publications and Research

Parth Phiroze Mehrotra is Director of Publications and Research at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, where he leads the Museum’s publishing program — encompassing scholarly books, exhibition catalogues, and other publications. He is currently expanding the department as the Museum looks to broaden its publishing reach across a wider range of audiences and interests.

Before joining KNMA, Parth was editor-in-chief at Juggernaut Books, a New Delhi-based boutique publishing house specializing in non-fiction for the general reader. Books published under his leadership at Juggernaut have gone on to win a wide range of India’s top literary and non-fiction prizes. Prior to joining Juggernaut Books, Parth was an editor on the opinion pages of The Indian Express.

Parth holds an MPhil and an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in Economics from the University of Delhi.

He is a keen student of Indian history and of jewellery and complex weaving techniques — taquetés, samites, lampas, and velvets — from across Asia and Europe, from the mid-first-millennium CE onward.
